We know right off the bat where you are
coming from, and it's all about trust.
As you are unfamiliar with all of this, who can you rely on
to give you the straight scoop and treat you fair? What
realistic expectations should you have? Times are tough,
money is tight, how much should you spend, will you get a good
return on this investment?
Step 1
You don't know us - call those
websites listed in our portfolio - ask! Actually check
references!
When you do this, you will find that we do what we say, we
are there when you need us and treat you fairly. That's a
start....
Step 2
Know the difference. Websites are easy to make, you can type
- you're a web designer. Knowing how to promote a website on
the Internet so that site gets good targeted traffic and
create a site that converts viewers into actual sales and/or
leads is a whole different ball game. That's what I do;
making an appealing website isn't rocket science, making one
that gets noticed and makes $ is what I specialize in. Those
clients above will tell you that it really works!
Step 3
Call me and I'll make you a deal:
-
I'll provide a 1 page
website, with a domain name. Pretty much anything
that prints out to 1 page - we'll put it in. Pictures,
logos, map links, about what you need to present your
products and services to the public. Even a coupon...
-
Want a email address with your domain
name, it's free!
-
We will check the Internet for existing
listings that show up for you now and try to get your
site linked on those listings. It's not always possible,
but we will try.
-
We will put a counter on the page - check
how many viewers you had at any time.
-
We will make sure your business appears
in Google, Yahoo and MSN local listings, it's free and you
can do that yourself, but we know a few little inside
practices that can
expand those local listings.
-
We will review the page, make minor updates if
required, when required (new fax #, etc).
-
We won't run any ads on your page, it's
just about you. (this happens a lot!)
-
All of this for a set-up charge of $249
Annual billings the second and successive
years are about $100-150/year
At the end of the year, you will have an idea
if this works for you. Keep it, dump it, expand it - it's all up to
you, but at least you gave it a shot. There are a couple of
things we want to get out front; we own the domain name
(usually this is a terrible idea) - but we will never use
your trade name for this, and you can purchase your own
domain name if you desire. If you are Joe's Shoe Store in
Anytown, GA, we recommend a domain name something like
"anytownga-shoes.com". You can keep the domain name if we
get the chance to develop a website for you, we'll even
transfer ownership. If this all works and you want your brother-in-law to make
you a website, fine, you get to start all over, and that's
fair. Check out my tutorial
- there is a lot of practical info there to help you see how
it all works.
It does not matter where you are, Walla
